On this week's HomeKit Insider podcast, your hosts discuss the leaked Hue gradient floor lights, Ikea's new HomeKit-enabled air purifier, and the ongoing Apple TV audio issues plaguing users.
More unreleased Philips Hue lights have leaked, this time upgraded versions of the Hue Signe floor lights. These lamps sit on the floor, casting ambient light into corners and onto walls.
The updated version —expected to be dubbed the Hue Gradient Signe —will support multiple color zones, just like the Hue Gradient light strip for televisions. No release or pricing is known, but a large release of Hue products seems imminent.
Ikea also announced its first smart air purifier this week, fully supporting Apple HomeKit. There is a free-standing floor version as well as a version integrated into the body of a table to fit seamlessly into your home.
We spend the rest of the episode talking about the ongoing sound issues on Apple TV that many users are experiencing and some talk about MagSafe and various home accessories for it.
